The Dalton McCaughey Library is a collaboration between the Australian Jesuits, the Uniting Church in Australia (VicTas) and the Trinity College Theological School. The library serves the clergy, staff and theological colleges of the three organisations.

We welcome new members to our community. Students enrolled at our associated colleges are enrolled automatically.

The Dalton McCaughey Library acknowledges and pays respect to the traditional custodians of Melbourne, on whose lands the library is located.

Thank you for the wonderful time I had at the Dalton McCaughey Library.

"I was working at the DML for the last 3 1/2 months of 2019, while I was on Research Leave in Melbourne from the University of Otago. The DML has been a wonderful place to read and to write. The holdings in the areas in which I’ve been working - Biblical Studies and Patristics - are absolutely excellent. It is so good to be working on something, find a new reference, and go to the shelf and find the book there! And the holdings are so consistently outstanding too - of older material right up to the present day. The library staff were also very friendly and always willing to help.
So thank you so very much - I’ve had a wonderful research leave at the DML!"
